Hanoi to host inaugural US-Vietnam Friendship Festival

The upcoming festival, organized by the US Embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), aims to foster extensive cooperation and mutual understanding between the United States and Vietnam through cultural exchanges.

The festival will showcase a wide range of activities, including traditional American and Vietnamese games, exhibitions of various art forms and handicraft products, sports, and STEM activities.

Numerous booths will be set up to provide information on the bilateral relationship in multiple fields, such as health, the environment, education, business, and culture.

Visitors will have the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from the US Embassy in Hanoi, gaining insights into traveling to the United States, learning English, applying for educational scholarships, as well as job opportunities at the US Diplomatic Mission in Vietnam.

The event will also feature musical performances by Vietnamese students and American volunteers.

Notably, attendees will be treated to unique performances by renowned US artist Adrienne Mack-Davis and Vietnamese conductor Dong Quang Vinh.
