International Day of Yoga: Uniting 40 Provinces in Vietnam with Peace and Wellness

The ancient practice of yoga has seen a surge in popularity in Vietnam, with a growing number of people embracing its physical and mental benefits. This trend reflects a broader global shift towards this ancient Indian tradition, which offers a holistic approach to health and well-being.   Indian diplomacy was on full display at the International Yoga Day celebrations in Vinh Phuc province, with the Deputy Ambassador, Subhash Prasad Gupta, leading the event. Indian artists captivated the audience with their impressive yoga performance. The United Nations General Assembly declared June 21st as International Yoga Day in 2014, recognizing its global appeal. Since then, annual yoga performances in Vietnam have strengthened solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Indian cultures.
