VN representative wins first runner-up title at Mrs Universe 2022

Nga made a stunning performance in the semi-final night and received the “Mother of the Universe” sub-title which recognised her contribution to charity projects, especially those fighting against domestic violence.

The woman hailing from Ho Chi Minh City stands at 1.68 metres tall. She is a famous businesswoman in the jewelry and gemstone field and has made many contributions to charity activities that benefit society.

She was crowned Mrs Universe Vietnam 2022 and went on to represent the country to compete in the international beauty pageant.

Mrs Universe was first held in 2007, with the beauty contest becoming one of the biggest pageants for married women, attracting many contestants worldwide. The pageant aims to promote friendship and international understanding among contestants throughout the globe.

Mrs Universe 2022 got underway in Bulgaria from January 30 to February 5, drawing 100 contestants from across the world.

This year marks the first time that Vietnam has sent a contestant to the pageant.

The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival of 2024, themed “Hanoi Noshes,” kicked off on the evening of August 23 in the pedestrian zone along Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung District. This festival commemorates the 70th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2024) and is part of the 2024 National Tourism Year – Dien Bien celebrations. At the opening ceremony, Tran Trung Hieu, Vice Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, delivered a speech emphasizing the festival’s role in promoting Hanoi as a ‘Safe – Friendly – High-Quality – Attractive’ tourist destination. Vietnam looking for talented foreign coach for men’s football team following Park’s departure

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) officially announced on Monday that it will end the contract with Park on January 31, 2023, closing his fruitful five-year journey with Vietnamese football that had started in late 2017.
