Da Nang Music Gala Celebrates 50 Years of Vietnam-France Diplomatic Relations

The event was jointly organized by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations (DAFO) and the French Embassy in Vietnam. The purpose of the event was to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership this year. Ho Ky Minh, vice chairman of the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee, mentioned the cultural and educational cooperation between Vietnam and France. He highlighted that approximately 7,000 Vietnamese students are studying in France, while French is chosen by 40,000 students in Vietnam as their second foreign language after English. ROK President and Vietnamese Vice President Participate in Musical Gala Celebrating Cultural Exchange

The event was attended by Vice President of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan, officials from both Vietnam and the RoK, as well as a large number of young Vietnamese fans of Korean music and culture. The aim of the event was to promote mutual cultural understanding between the two countries and foster friendship and harmony among their younger generations, by bringing together K-pop and V-pop, which are popular among Vietnamese youth. The gala featured special performances by popular K-pop singers such as Kihyun of Monsta X and AB6IX, as well as famous V-pop singers like Mono and Min. The performances received a big round of applause from the RoK President, his spouse, and the rest of the audience. BlackPink to Perform at My Dinh Stadium in Born Pink Concerts

BlackPink, the South Korea’s girl band, will be performing at My Dinh Stadium as they have confirmed their Born Pink World Tour will come to Hanoi on July 29 and 30.  BlackPink confirmed their concerts in Hanoi.
